Shae Hartford is 20 years old and a graduate of 2012. She graduated top of her class.
Shae has been deaf since she was 11, due to a car accident. She is fluent in sign language and lip reading.
She enjoys spending time reading and watching TV with subtitles (even though she can read lips, subtitles still help!)
Shae comes from a broken family, her dad left them when she was 15. She has 3 older brothers: Trent who is 33, Kevin who is 26 (married to Elayna) and Cash who is her twin brother and is only older by 2 minutes. (But he rubs it in all the time).
Shae is currently looking for a job in Texas where she doesn't feel out of place because of her deafness.
